| In 1991 the Hammond Kiwanis Club

yet challenging trek through storied Tangipahoa Parish. This year, the Kiwanis Club
is proud to present the 11th edition of the Tour de Tangipahoa. We just know that you will
enjoy participating in this great event that we are trying very hard to make the
greatest bicycle tour in the region. We will offer a 30 mile intermediate ride and a
challenging 62 mile tour. |

PURPOSE.......
to help Kiwanis help others!
Since 1940 the Hammond Kiwanis Club has served as a force for good in the Hammond area. During the past year alone, the Hammond Kiwanis Club: fed needy families; supported public education through the Adopt A School Program; sponsored Terrific Kids and BUGS programs; presented Project Impact, a dynamic presentation that encourages safe driving practices for the young at all parish schools; offered activities for residents of a local nursing home; provided infant car safety seats for those who could not afford them; sponsored Key Clubs that encourage leadership and responsibility among teens; supported the Fanfare Outreach Program, the Boy Scouts and youth athletic teams; participated in the Louisiana State Summer Special Olympics; and said "yes!" when called upon from time to time to assist and support various programs that enhance the quality of life in the communities we serve.
Your participation in the Tour de' Tangipahoa will help assure that the good works of this dedicated and hard-working club will continue. |

| Would you care
to be a sponsor? |
| |
Each
year a number of individuals and business concerns
assist the tour by becoming an official tour sponsor.
If you agree to become a sponsor your company or
firm's logo will appear on the back of our beautiful
souvenir T-shirts, you will be recognized throughout
the day on our public address system, and your name
and logo will be on all subsequent mail outs related
to the Tour de' Tangipahoa.
The sponsors help us make the Tour de' Tangipahoa
the outstanding cycling event of the region. If
interested, call Judy Couvillion, Publicity
Chairman, at (985)345-8127 or Terry King at (985) 542-5911
Our sponsors greatly enhance our ability to present
